This is a Swedish organization which has been supporting FPCT Health facilities with financial support for running costs. And one this institutions is Nkinga Referral Hospital as well as Coordination Office. During the Swedish Missionaries management, foreign assistance to the hospital was high. It came in terms of drugs and other medical supplies, which now is not done. Also many employees especially the high skilled medical practitioners were hired from Sweden and their salaries were paid from Sweden. Most of nationals who were in employment had no high professional that would demand high pays. So during the Swedish management salaries did not relay on patient fees as it the situation now. Leaving alone the rapid raise in government salaries which has to be followed by Faith Based Hospitals as the law provides, the total withdraw of foreign assistance of foreign assistance of drugs and other medical supplies, vehicle spare parts to depend vehicle replacements as it was used to be, has forced the hospital to depend the mainly on patient fee to pay salaries, purchase drugs, other medical supplies and vehicle spare parts, so the hospital has become unable to replace aged motor vehicles and other hospital equipment. Thanks to Lakarmission through PMU who has remained the major external donor to Nkinga Referral Hospital gets from Friends of Nkinga in Sweden.
